Carine Glas new CAPIEL President – Thomas Brenner new Vice President

In January 2023, at the CAPIEL Plenary Committee meeting in Paris, Carine Glas (Schneider Electric) was elected as the new CAPIEL President.

The members elected Thomas Brenner (Siemens) as the new Vice President. Carine Glas is the first woman to head the
European umbrella organisation of the switchgear industry in Europe. CAPIEL is the European coordination committee of manufacturers of electrical low-voltage switchgear and controlgear and represents nine national associations from eight European countries. CAPIEL members are national associations representing small, medium and largesized companies that in total employ more than 100.000 people directly in Europe.
