Adapt training and enhance the prestige of careers in the light of transitions

Energy and digital transitions are having a continuous impact on the careers of the players in the electrical and digital equipment sector in terms of job development and evolution. The industrial, economic and social changes are therefore raising challenges in terms of future strategic skills, with:

  • Adaptation of initial and continuing training courses for careers in energy, industry and construction;
  • Attractiveness of careers in the electrical and digital equipment sector.

Be the bridge between the electrical and digital equipment sector and the world of training

The GIMELEC Careers Conversion Commission aims to help professionals to acquire the necessary skills by:

  • Promoting careers in our sector to all audiences, through initial and lifelong training;
  • Incorporating into vocational training the knowledge and skills required to match the needs of industries in the electrical and digital equipment sector;
  • Promoting our members’ educational resources to training organisations, information and guidance centres, other members;
  • Participating in work structures and working groups aimed at preparing, anticipating changes in skills and boosting vocational training to meet the new needs of the profession.
