From darkness to light: the data centre can be a lever for ecological transition!

The link between the digital revolution and ecological transition that until now was relatively low profile has just been the subject of two publications in a row: one published by ADEME entitled “”The Spatial and Energy Impact of Data Centers on the Territories”” and the other, a White Paper entitled “”Digitalisation and the Environment””, produced by IDDRI and WWF working in partnership with others.

GIMELEC and France Datacenter welcome the publication of these reports, which raise a number of sometimes sensitive issues and make several interesting proposals.
